By Default
"What is default?" Partner asked on one fine evening over a sip of coffee.
"As in computer lingo?"I asked.
"yup..yup..yup," he said swirling smoke of his cigarrette in the air.
"Default is .."
"Default is dumb," he suddenly broke me in between banging his feast on the table,"when you don't know what to do, you chose default. Agree?"
"Sort of"
"We live our life pretty much that way - by default. Probably, if we move our ass a tad and look around, we might end up living much better life.
"hmmm .."
"Do you want to explore and try custom setup or do you feel secure with whatever comes by default?" ¶ 10:45 AM
